China and EU Reach Understanding on Restricting Chinese Hybrid Vehicle Exports to Europe
On October 9, EU Trade Commissioner Sefcovič announced after meeting with Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao in Beijing that the two sides had reached an understanding on limiting exports of Chinese hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles to Europe, which could cut export volumes by more than half.
