According to a report by Radio France Internationale, Taiwanese scholar Yeh Yao-yuan analyzed that China attempts to interfere in Taiwan's nine-in-one elections and conduct cognitive warfare through means such as leaks via Hong Kong media. The scholar believes that such operations may not necessarily change voters' positions, but could deepen social opposition and polarization in Taiwan, adversely affecting the development of democracy.
