合法房屋遭强拆后蜗居集装箱半年、因拍照遭殴打夺机愤而持刀刺杀拆迁官员致二死一伤的武汉退休工人
Shu Lifa was born in 1956 and is a retired railway worker living in Wubei Village, Xujiapeng, Wuchang District, Wuhan, Hubei. He held legal private ownership of a three-story residential house. Without reaching a fair compensation agreement during the Simeitang urban renewal project, his home was covertly demolished at 3 a.m. on January 30, 2021, by demolition officials Guo Jing and Xiong Zhiping. Police and street offices shirked responsibility and denied compensation, while demolition staff threatened and cut off his water and power. Left homeless, Shu and his wife were forced to live in a discarded shipping container on the rubble for half a year. On July 12, 2021, Binjiang Business District Director Sun Yi, his secretary, and Xiong Zhiping inspected the site. When Shu tried to take photos on his phone as evidence, officials attacked him, smashed his phone, and beat the 65-year-old to the ground. Driven to fury by unceasing abuse, Shu rushed home to grab a knife in self-defense, fatally stabbing Xiong and Sun's secretary, and critically injuring Sun. He was detained on charges of intentional homicide and remains in custody awaiting a transparent verdict.
