On September 20, villagers in Shangliangkeng Village, Dapo Town, Gaozhou, Maoming, Guangdong, clashed with relevant personnel while trying to stop their crops from being forcibly cleared, resulting in one death and three injuries. On September 21, a large number of villagers went to the gate of the Dapo Town government to hang banners for rights defense, with a large number of law enforcement personnel maintaining order at the scene.
