After personally experiencing the September 11, 2001 attacks, painter Yang Yi created a 12-meter xuan paper ink wash painting, in which the firefighters on the front line of the rescue were modeled on footage from online videos. On the eve of 911 in 2026, the work was exhibited in the United States for the first time at a 25th anniversary photo exhibition in New York's Chinatown, and it was also taken near the World Trade Center for display.
