Yunnan College of Economics and Management Lists Improper Statements on Sensitive Dates and Other Issues Among Five Major Campus Cyber Risks
On October 13, Yunnan College of Economics and Management held a routine meeting of class leaders across the school, listing improper statements on sensitive dates, inappropriate online remarks, illegal circumvention of the Great Firewall, the spread of violent and terrorist information, and infiltration and subversion by foreign forces as five prominent cyber risks in higher education, and explained the boundaries between disciplinary actions under school rules, public security penalties, and criminal liability, requiring students to strictly observe the bottom lines of cyber rule of law and ideology; on October 15, the school issued an official notice.
