Dushan County Breaks Ground on the Water Company Building
In September 2016, Dushan County in Guizhou broke ground on a nearly 100-meter-tall all-wood Water Company Building despite fiscal revenue of less than 1 billion yuan, taking on nearly 200 million yuan in debt; it later became an unfinished project after the funding chain broke.
