On October 12, 2026, Beijing time, the Chinese Democracy Party International Alliance held a protest rally in front of the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, accusing the Chinese government of transnational repression and of persecuting more than 20 of its party members and their family members in China. At the scene, the alliance submitted a protest letter to Consul General Guo Shaochun, solemnly condemning the Chinese Communist Party's human rights crimes against dissidents, demanding an end to threats and violent attacks, and stating that it would lobby the U.S. Congress to hold those responsible to account.
