The child's mother posted on Douyin stating that she had not received an explanation from the school after the incident, and that she received a call demanding she delete the video after she posted it.
On October 29, a student at Tangshan Foreign Language School (Tangshan No. 8 Middle School) died while at school. After the incident, the playground was cordoned off, and students were driven away from the scene and instructed not to discuss the matter.
After the student passed away, the family did not receive an explanation for a long time. The parents hung a banner reading 'Return my granddaughter's life' at the school gate to defend their rights and demand an explanation.
