Hu Ermei, who ran the "Hu Ermei Copper-Pot Potato" stall in Chengdu, reportedly took her own life after suffering online abuse. Her relatives posted her final words on social media, in which she reviewed her experience of coming to Chengdu to work, marrying and raising children, and the hardships of life.
