On September 16, a netizen published a long post using speech-to-text and similarity calculation, accusing Zhong Shu, the host of the podcast 'Du Shu Bu Cheng Lin', of plagiarizing content across at least 14 episodes. Among them, about half of the content in episode 310 was highly similar to the English podcast 'Breaking History'.
Zhong Shu, host of the podcast 'A Single Tree Does Not Make a Forest', went viral online after interviewing director Christopher Nolan. The interview showcased a depth of civilization and philosophical contemplation, and was praised by netizens as Nolan's best interview over the years.
In August 2026, podcast host Zhong Shu, who had previously gained popularity through an exclusive interview with director Nolan, was called out by multiple netizens, who alleged that a large number of his in-depth podcast scripts were direct machine translations plagiarized from well-known foreign programs.
