On October 30, the CCP Central Committee held a press conference for the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee. Zhang Fuhai, Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, disclosed that since the 18th National Congress in 2012, discipline inspection and supervision agencies nationwide have disciplined a total of 7.922 million people, including 963 centrally-managed officials, and stated that the anti-corruption situation remains severe and complex.
