AMTI Report by U.S. Think Tank Identifies Suspected Runway Excavation on Antelope Reef
A report released on August 14 by the Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative (AMTI) under the U.S. think tank CSIS stated that suspected runway excavation has been identified on Antelope Reef, with no concrete yet laid, and that the dimensions of at least one building foundation beside the runway match those of large hangars at other Chinese airfields in the South China Sea.
