On October 24, economist Ren Zeping's WeChat public account "Zeping Macro" was banned from being followed for violations. The day before, the account had just pushed the article "The Market Has Bottomed Out, a Rebound Rally Unfolds"; the shop's customer service said the account was abnormal and that they were unclear about the specific violation.
On June 23, economist Ren Zeping posted on Weibo that when the economy is under pressure, taxes and fees should be cut, people should be allowed to rest and recover; taxes are generated through development, so water should be released to raise fish and full effort should be made to boost the economy. The Weibo post was subsequently deleted.
