California State Assemblymember Tri Ta Says Chinese Consulate Pressured Her Office
Tri Ta said that the Chinese consulate had contacted her office to protest her posting on social media of a photo of a meeting with David Wu, representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office; she responded that California elected officials do not accept orders from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
