Thai police bust forged birth registration network and arrest 27 people
A Thai police investigation found that criminal groups have bribed hospital staff and household registration officials and recruited Thai men to act as fake fathers, helping Chinese families obtain Thai nationality for their children; as of the report, 27 people had been arrested.
