Myanmar Military Arrests 99 Chinese Nationals Suspected of Online Fraud in Monghsat Township, Eastern Shan State
On the afternoon of October 21, Myanmar security forces arrested 99 Chinese nationals (95 men and 4 women) inside a corrugated iron factory of about 465 square meters in Monghsat Township, Eastern Shan State, seizing 13 all-in-one computers, 193 mobile phones, and two sets of Starlink equipment, accusing them of being involved in online fraud and online gambling. The Myanmar side said they would be handled according to the law after investigation.
