Nepal's Trishuli 3A Hydropower Plant Destroyed by Mudslide

The Trishuli 3A hydropower plant was completed and put into operation in 2019, with a capacity of 60 megawatts. It was financed by the Export-Import Bank of China and built by China Gezhouba Group, and was destroyed in a mudslide in August 2026, beyond repair.

Fumao Group ordered a cargo ship at a state-owned shipyard in Qingdao, with a loan provided by the Export-Import Bank of China. This is the first cooperation between financial institutions on both sides of the strait to participate in ship financing.
