On October 27, Shandian News exposed that multiple companies in Henan are processing chicken frames—left over after removing chicken necks and breast meat—into meat paste to supply the production of sausages, meatballs, and dumplings. Some workshops were found with sewage flowing everywhere, and some companies lacked food production licenses. The person in charge of Qixian Xinrui Food stated that the daily production capacity is at least 30 tons, with a selling price of 3,800 yuan per ton, and warned consumers to eat as little stuffed food products as possible.
