Dimitrov Expresses Support for Mao Zedong's Leadership
In 1938, Dimitrov, General Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Communist International, met with Wang Jiaxiang and Ren Bishi, stating that Mao Zedong should be supported as the leader of the Chinese Communist Party. After returning to China the same year, Wang Jiaxiang relayed this message around the time of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee.
