Around September 8, investigative reporter Liu Hu disclosed on the WeChat public account "Fa Yu Qing" that when Liu Yuan served as deputy head of Xiaodian District in Taiyuan in 2006, he drove an official vehicle across double solid lines and turned left, causing 1 death and 6 injuries; he bore 504,000 yuan in compensation, and Liu Hu questioned the determination of accident liability.
