A blogger posted a video saying an elderly woman scanned the QR code to charge her electric scooter and paid, but the charge wouldn't start, so she asked him for help. The blogger demonstrated on site: scanning the charging pile's QR code first pops up an ad, and clicking it redirects to a Mango TV membership promotion page; the woman mistook the ad's payment entry for the charging payment entry.

On October 7, netizens found that the episode of Who's the Murderer featuring Kevin Tsai — Season 1, Case 07, "Please Answer 1998" — is no longer among Mango TV's full-episode selections; the old direct link redirects back to the homepage, while the official YouTube channel still keeps that episode. Mango TV has issued no public explanation.
