On September 30, multiple netizens posted that while the Experimental School of Hengshui Middle School in Hebei was holding a sports meet, students were required to carry a "toilet pass" when using the restroom. The pass required the name, class, gender, and the exact time of restroom use down to the minute, and had to be signed and approved by the class monitor and the homeroom teacher. Each pass was limited to one person for a single use and had to be returned to the Education Office afterward. Some netizens said such strict controls were not the first time at local schools.
