The official website of Xinjiang Agricultural Vocational and Technical University stated that even privately circumventing the Great Firewall to access academic materials is illegal and in violation of regulations, and demanded that people use the school's academic resources or apply for external network access permissions, adding that there are proper channels for studying and that there has never been a justified reason to jump the wall.
