Former U.S. Army Chief of Staff Randy George Fired After Warning of Air Defense Missile Shortages
According to CBS News, former U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George issued a warning in December 2025 that shortages of critical Patriot and THAAD missile defense systems would persist through 2030. He was subsequently dismissed in April during the war with Iran.
