Inner Mongolia University Invites Police Officer to Hold Anti-Great-Firewall-Circumvention Lecture, Demanding an End to Spreading Circumvention Channels
On October 20, the School of Economics and Management of Inner Mongolia University invited Officer Wang of the Hohhot Public Security Bureau to give an anti-circumvention lecture to faculty and student representatives, demanding that private circumventing of the Great Firewall and the dissemination of circumvention channels be eliminated. The lecture claimed that exposure to harmful foreign ideologies endangers national security, and warned that violators would face school disciplinary action, administrative penalties, and even criminal liability.
