Jinggangshan University Party Secretary Luo Xubiao Demands Governance of Students Circumventing the Great Firewall and Regulation of Student Self-Media
On October 29, at a meeting of the Theoretical Learning Center Group of the Jinggangshan University Party Committee, Party Secretary Luo Xubiao demanded strengthening the governance of unauthorized use of software for circumventing the Great Firewall, regulating and guiding student self-media accounts and online communities, and ensuring "early detection, early assessment, and early disposal" of public opinion involving the school. He also emphasized that campus media must reflect the will of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The meeting studied Xi Jinping's discourses on ideology, building a strong cyber nation, and news and public opinion work.
