On August 26, 2026, at the autumn education administration meeting in Leibo County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan, primary and junior high school teachers whose end-of-term average scores were relatively low were required to go up on stage together and take a group photo in front of a large screen bearing the two characters meaning "shame", sparking strong condemnation of the public humiliation of teachers.
