In September 2026, at a Jam Hsiao concert, the kiss cam caught a female audience member refusing to kiss her boyfriend and then kissing the girl next to her; afterward, the man in the shot tried to kiss another man and was also rejected. Jam Hsiao joked, "Is anyone listening to me sing?" The clip spread widely online, and those involved later said they had been joking.
