Guo Yi, owner of the internet-famous border collie 'Chutou', accepts a 300,000 yuan settlement and issues a letter of forgiveness
On October 30, Guo Yi posted a video stating that he had received a 300,000 yuan settlement and issued a letter of forgiveness, adding that he would donate the entire amount to stray animal rescue organizations. He said his lawyer informed him that the court might only assess the loss based on property value, making compensation for emotional distress uncertain, so accepting the settlement was a helpless decision.
