Hearthstone Player Posts Plea for Help, Says He Was Kidnapped to Myanmar's Myawaddy Telecom Fraud Park
On October 23, a Hearthstone player posted a plea for help on the gaming community Lvfashi Camp, saying he had been kidnapped in Thailand and taken to a telecom fraud park in Myawaddy, Myanmar. The park holds about 700 to 800 people, 80 percent of whom were abducted from Thailand. His family has reported the case to the police at home and sought help from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but he has still not been rescued.
