Lianhe Hang was renamed China Resources, transporting democratic figures for the CPPCC meeting
In 1948, Lianhe Hang was officially renamed China Resources. To welcome the first CPPCC meeting, it chartered a ship to transport democratic figures such as Guo Moruo and Li Jishen from Hong Kong back to the liberated areas.
