According to a video posted by the X account @QuanLujun, a Didi ride-hailing driver in Wuhan was denied trip assignments by the platform for two consecutive hours, leading to a psychological breakdown. The incident reflects the severe survival conditions and operational difficulties currently facing bottom-tier ride-hailing drivers in China.

Recently, a top Weibo influencer posted that while using Didi ride-hailing, they were induced by the platform into opening a microloan, and only found out a month later; there was no obvious prompt when it was opened, screenshots were blocked on the payment page, and canceling the service required providing an ID card number and a phone number.

Master Kong reported instant noodle business revenue of over 13.7 billion yuan, up 2% year on year; Uni-President reported food business revenue of over 5.6 billion yuan, up 4.7% year on year.

Two days after Didi listed on the New York Stock Exchange, the Cyberspace Administration of China announced the launch of a network security review of the company; its app was subsequently forced off shelves, and it was ultimately delisted in June 2022 and hit with a massive fine.
