Typhoon and heavy rain cause severe flooding and backflow in multiple underground garages and shopping malls in Wuxi and Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu
On August 10, 2026, affected by heavy rainfall from Typhoon "Dolphin," multiple underground garages, including those at Meili Xiangshe in Wuxi, Jiangsu, were flooded and backflowed. A shopping mall in Zhangjiagang also suffered severe water accumulation, forcing citizens to evacuate urgently through the torrents.
