According to video reports, Tianjin-born ethnic Chinese Li Huahong had a conflict with Falun Gong practitioners in the US on that day and was accused of attacking them, after which she was arrested by the US Secret Service; the video also stated that she is regarded as a Chinese agent.

At the protest site in Washington, young Chinese people from places like Los Angeles were interviewed, expressing their support for Falun Gong and freedom of religious belief, and stating that the Chinese Communist Party is the root of their suffering.

Li Huahong, who has long suppressed and attacked Falun Gong and anti-communist groups multiple times in Flushing, was pinned down and arrested by US police while once again attacking Falun Gong disciples in Washington.
