On October 10, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and three other departments released a draft for comment, proposing to ban cars from being equipped with fully hidden door handles, ban the use of zero-gravity seats while driving, etc., and requiring models already announced to submit verification materials before July 1, 2027, with those having hazards past the deadline required to halt production and carry out recalls.
