On October 2, residents of Matarape village in Morowali, Indonesia blocked a road to protest dust from Askon company transport. About 40 Chinese workers arrived armed and clashed with residents, leaving 6 people injured and vehicles and an excavator destroyed. 75 Chinese workers were later evacuated and questioned by police.
