On September 30, Pang Donglai founder Yu Donglai announced that starting in March 2027 all employees will have two-day weekends and work 35 hours per week, while National Bureau of Statistics data show that in August the average weekly working hours of employees at enterprises nationwide reached 48.2 hours.
