On September 28, a large number of villagers in Gushan Village, Yuelu District, Changsha, Hunan gathered in front of the village Party-mass service center to protest in unison, accusing the village committee of failing to issue elderly pensions as required, of illegally disposing of land, and of unlawfully bundling the votes on demolition and relocation together with social security resettlement.
