According to Twitter user @jielijian, human rights activist Li Qing was arrested on October 13, 2026 while reporting to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Li Qing had previously protested outside the Chinese Embassy in the United States and the residence of Ambassador Xie Feng after her husband was persecuted to death by the CCP in China. Supporters worry that if Li Qing is deported back to China, she will face deadly retaliation from the CCP, and are calling on the U.S. government to provide protection so that her life and safety are not seriously threatened.
