According to online reports, a person inside the system revealed that, in response to the public opinion fermentation triggered by Chongqing citizens' protests against dog abuse and police on-site violent law enforcement, the relevant propaganda competent departments held a meeting to intervene and instructed the three major mainstream online platforms to block and delete related content in order to lower the heat of the incident.
