Chiang Wan-an proposes relocating Songshan Airport, freeing about 300 hectares for a Taipei AI park

On October 8, Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an proposed relocating Songshan Airport and using the roughly 300 hectares of freed-up land to develop a Taipei artificial intelligence park, raising concerns among residents of the outlying islands that transportation convenience would be affected, while some within the Kuomintang have also openly opposed the plan.
