On October 9, police deployed a large number of officers at the Zhejin Center in Hangzhou and the Zhangjiaba petition reception point. Some rights defenders were visited late at night by multiple batches of police officers who harassed them after they posted messages such as "unite as one, never give up" in rights defense groups.
