China Gas and Venture Global Sign 20-Year LNG Purchase Agreement

US liquefied natural gas exporter Venture Global announced an agreement with China Gas, under which China Gas will purchase 500,000 tonnes of LNG per year starting in 2030 for a period of 20 years, bringing the two sides' total long-term purchases to 2.5 million tonnes per year. The agreement was reached on the eve of the US-China leaders' summit.
