Release of 5090 Graphics Card Recycling Video Sparks Accusations of Malicious Price Suppression; CC Issues Clarification

On August 16, 2026, "Shou Shouji de CC" officially released a graphics card recycling video, previously recorded in July, on mainstream video platforms including Bilibili. Upon its release, the video caused a sensation in the hardware and digital community, with views exceeding one million in a single day. However, due to a sharp surge in spot prices in the graphics card market in mid-August, the recycling prices shown in the video were severely "inverted" compared to the current market rates. Numerous netizens flooded the comments and bullet screens, accusing the blogger and the platform of "unscrupulous recycling" and "maliciously suppressing prices for novices." Facing the overwhelming backlash, CC posted a long pinned update that evening to clarify, explaining that the video was recorded in early July and only edited and uploaded in mid-August. There was a time lag of over a month and significant market volatility during this period, and the quotes were calculated according to the system rules at that time, not by intentional price suppression.
