The Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is scheduled to be held in October 2026, in the fourth quarter. Its theme is to persistently advance full and strict Party self-governance, consolidate the Party's ruling position, and improve the system of strict Party self-governance. Ahead of the session, the National Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CCP Central Committee also held a plenary meeting in preparation.
