On October 4, Heyuan Radio and Television Station posted a video claiming that 12-year-old Chen Zixi found two dinosaur egg fossils in a flower bed near his home and handed them over to a museum, praising him for knowing the law and following regulations. The video received 50,000 likes, and sarcastic comments such as "the young master has been recommended as xiaolian" and "something handed down for 15 generations in the family has been handed over" appeared in the comments section, questioning the true origin of the fossils.
