On October 14, a Xiaohongshu user posted that they traveled to Thailand during the National Day holiday and activated an overseas communication service. After returning home, their China Unicom number was "suspended by the carrier." Two online applications to restore the service were rejected, and the service hall told them the number would have to be cancelled if it was not restored within 24 hours. Calling 10015 to file a complaint still had no effect.
