Solana's offline event in Shanghai abruptly canceled, law enforcement officers appear on site

On October 16, an offline event by the blockchain platform Solana originally scheduled to be held in Shanghai was abruptly canceled. About 8 to 9 law enforcement officers appeared at the venue, and participants waited outside the door for over an hour without being allowed to enter. The chairman of the Solana Foundation said that advertising caused the number of registrations to surge beyond the upper limit reported to local authorities, so a postponement was decided.
