Since the beginning of this semester, Henan University of Economics and Law has required students to sign in for every class using facial recognition and location tracking. The system also identifies the IP address, network environment, and device information at the time of sign-in, including proxy IPs and IPs from tools for circumventing the Great Firewall. It has been verified that those using tools to sign in on behalf of others will be directly marked as absent, and those with severe absenteeism may face expulsion.
